Context
In this project, Toll Brothers' mortgage website was revamped to synchronize seamlessly with Toll Brothers.com, Toll Brothers' parent company. The goal was to emphasize to users that our mortgage specialists collaborate closely with construction and project managers to provide tailored financial packages that meet the unique needs of our clients.
The Problem
The site urgently required a comprehensive overhaul and aligning with Toll's branding standards. Key areas of focus include the creation of customer-centric, easily understandable copy, the redesign of sitemaps to showcase content relevant to customers, and the elimination of ambiguity surrounding existing forms to offer clear and informative guidance to our customers.
The Solution
To develop a new website that embodies the distinctive Toll Brothers branding and integrates a modern look. Additionally, clear and customer-oriented language was incorporated for enhanced contextual understanding.

RESEARCH
Comparative Analysis
Our main audience is Toll Brothers Homebuyers, who provide 90% of our new mortgages. 39% of them are returning customers. I study top companies' strategies to find important trends and insights. I look for missing information that could affect my design work. One key insight that emerged was the necessity of incorporating a mortgage calculator onto the website, a critical addition considering the absence of any loan information on the previous site.
Design System
I maintained visual coherence with a new fresh layout by incorporating the Toll Brothers design system, which ensured a seamless and unified experience for our online visitors. This integration enabled me to uphold a consistent brand identity and user interface, ultimately enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal and usability of the website.
DESIGN
Low-Fi Sketches
Focusing on customer testimonials, I worked to regularly highlight their positive experiences on every page. I also removed the hero image on the contact page for quicker access.

Following the successful approval of the wireframes, I collaborated closely with the copywriters and key mortgage stakeholders to efficiently construct the rest of the website pages, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly digital experience.

Takeaways
In this project, I focused on aligning the old site with Toll Brothers' branding standards by skillfully integrating our newly developed design system. This strategic approach not only enhanced the visual appeal but also fostered a sense of cohesion and harmony throughout the platform.
